An animated site with ‘living plans’ and a doob who shows you around. Make a point of visiting the “meet our staff” section where individual staff-members greet you verbally.
We’re currently planning a major upgrade to Rice Daubney’s website, upgrading to the Textpattern CMS and extending the concept of the design.
The bright folk at Sydney architectural firm Rice Daubney have a website thats as snazzy and dynamic as their city projects. We love the way the visitor is ‘escorted’ through the firm. There are some extremely clever effects here, especially the arm that appears to reach over and point to the various elements of the site, and the ‘deskcam’ and water cooler effects are superb. In fact, this is one of the most brilliant, user friendly, reputation-enhancing corporate sites we’ve ever seen. Someone give that web designer a medal. – POL OXYGEN magazine feb04
