The gizUlor would prefer that I use 7mm and 17mm thickness, but the code (& myself for that matter) prefers 12mm and 21or25mm thicknesses. I’m finding that there are many ways to combine the conventional sizes with the gizUlor – use the gizUlor (and it’s Modulor logic) to do all the controlling dimensions, and then fill it all in with the 1200mm / whatever sizing (generally centred on the gizUlor grid).

Anyhow, that said, here’s what Henk said (all costs excl. gst, H3 treatment no extra cost):
12mm x 2700×1200mm:

  • DD : $55
  • CD : $70
  • CD seconds/slightly damaged: $48

25mm x 2400×1200mm:

  • DD : $85-90
  • CD : $105

The thickest board available at 2700mm is 21mm… I think I’ll opt for the 25mm (I like its rough modularity with the 12mm thickness, and as its likely to be used for floor boards which I want thick).

The detailing in 3d of the 2d sketches continues apace. I’ll post something in a day or two…
