My three modes of working: do a plain black-on-white print-out of the lastest 3d mode; handsketch over the top of it using tracing/bumpf; update and improve the 3d model. Rinse and repeat. Many, many times until things are just how they need to be.
Assuming we can't afford the whole long entry-tongue thing, what would it look like?
