More about templates

A template is all the code needed to display a layout pattern on a web page. Templates aren’t content – they are containers for content.

Say we have a layout pattern that displays your photos in a grid together with a heading, some text copy and a site navigation menu. This comprises a single template can be used to display a variety of content, from project information to your profile and contact pages.

If you want each section of your website to have a distinct character, you’ll need a template for each instance – and costs will scale accordingly.
