There was a large inter-war house, looking out over Hampstead Heath by Kenwood. It had a double garage by the side which had a pitched roof. On this Tom designed a structure, which would replace the pitched roof with a glazed studio, looking over the parkland. The composition is simple and very effective. Access is by a light stair to the side and the triangular window panes on the ends reflect the old pitched roof.
Sadly, the house was sold after a few years and the new owners have built a new addition in place of the studio.
